Billing questions
01What counts as a seat?
One verified attorney. Support staff who help manage sources, review answers, or handle billing use a non-attorney role and are not charged.
02What happens after the trial?
Nothing is charged automatically — there's no card on file. When the 14 days are up, your profile stays online and your data stays put, but the console goes read-only and new client enquiries pause until you choose a plan.
03Can I add or remove seats later?
Any time, from your Billing page. Stripe prorates the change immediately, so adding a seat mid-month costs the remaining part of the month.
04How does annual billing work?
You pay for ten months and get twelve, per seat. You can switch between monthly and annual from the billing portal.
05Do you store my card details?
No. Checkout and payment-method management happen on Stripe-hosted pages — card details never reach our systems at all.
06What if I cancel?
Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for. After that your profile stays online and your data is retained; the console becomes read-only until you reactivate.
